Here Come the Brides!

Sullivan Sisters Plan to Share Their Special Day

For Immediate Release
February 20, 2008

Who? Heather Sullivan and her fiancé Brian Morsman have been dating since high school. Heather loves to ride horses while Brian enjoys music and photography. Brian asked Heather to marry him in front of 150 people at their university. The event featured Brian fighting off friends dressed in cardboard armor and was covered by the school newspaper.

Katherine Sullivan met Kenny Rutzmoser on a mission trip to Ireland. They got engaged during a horse drawn carriage ride in the Country Club Plaza when Kenny pinned the ring to one of her Christmas gifts, new gloves.

What? Heather and Brian with Katherine and Kenny are having a double wedding and reception.

Where? After a joint ceremony at Whitefield Academy (high school where Katherine, Brian, and Heather graduated from) the brides and grooms will have their reception at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

When? July 28, 2008.

Why? The couples got engaged a little over two weeks apart. Both wanted to get married this summer. After wedding dress shopping and coincidentally finding dresses that looked beautiful together, the sisters decided to have a double wedding.

How? The girls will be escorted down the aisle at the same time by their father, Mike Sullivan. The sisters will be each others Maid of Honor. The other bridesmaids will wear truffle brown dresses with sashes in green or pink (depending on which sister). Their mother, Nina Sullivan, is proud of her daughters and is enjoying planning this special day.
