Creating a memorable event requires more than just picking a menu.  Whether your banquet is for two or 4,000, our award-winning chef works with our catering team to create a themed menu from a casual luau to a black-tie affair. You’ll enjoy premium catering by our talented team of chefs and attentive, courteous servers.

Can I create my own menu? Yes, our menu is not limited. As the event planner, you have the ability to work with our catering team and chef when planning your event. From the linens and centerpieces to entertainment and food, we can do it all. A full-course meal is not required. The Convention Center can provide a simple cocktail reception or light hors d’oeuvers for your social gathering. Menu

Does the OPCC have experience in creating culturally diverse cuisine? Yes! We can create ethnic menus. We have a dedicated Kosher kitchen on site. Our partnership with Simcha catering is 100% Vadd supervised.

Can guests stay close to the Convention Center? Yes, the Convention Center is connected to a 412-room Sheraton Hotel. There are more than 1,000 rooms within walking distance of the facility. For more hotel locations, visit the Overland Park Convention and Visitors Bureau at www.opcvb.org.

Is there a charge for parking? No, we have 1,400 FREE parking spots on facility grounds including 400 covered and ample ADA spots. The surrounding corporate offices provide additional space during weekend hours.

What is OPCC doing to be environmentally friendly?
